Randi & Jesse Palm Springs Elopement

My heart just aches when I hear about a couple that either didn’t have the wedding of their dreams because a.) there family kind of took over and wanted to have a big wedding or b.) they had a great wedding but the photographer wasn’t up to par and they hate their photos! (obviously not taken by me!!!)

Guy’s did you know you can have the wedding of your dreams and of course have photos taken (DO NOT SKIP OUT ON A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER) and then also go somewhere else that’s super magical and meaningful that’s just the two of you and me (your photographer of course) and get the photos of your dreams with no hassle of the wedding day and timeline?

Okay now let me explain. I am all about you doing you! It’s your wedding day and I think you should do whatever makes your heart skip a beat with the love of your life. I also get that sometimes we do certain things for our family so that everyone can be involved & be there.

But what if, after your already married you have a shoot with just you and your now spouse. You got the clothes for it!! Am I right? Why not get some more awesome photos and get all Beyonce’d up again!

Now its not necessarily a vow re-newel because you just got married. It’s just a time where we get to just have fun, focus on the two of you and your love for each other, without a timeline.

This is what Randi & Jesse did. We went out to Palm Springs and had such a wonderful time running around the desert, doing whatever we wanted and getting photos of their love that they will forever cherish and look back on. No pressure, just fun!

When the sun starting going down they both re- lived their vows and said the sweetest things to each other that maybe they didn’t get to share at their actual wedding because they were so nervous standing in front of everyone.

I am loving this idea and I hope more of my couples decide to do it. Even if you have been married for awhile, girl grab your wedding dress (or buy a new one like I would do!) and let’s go somewhere magical and tell your story and get those dang photos that you didn’t get! Lets tell a story and make an awesome memory. Trust me when I say we will have so much dang fun and you will be talking about it just like it was your wedding day!
