Whitney is a wedding planner along side with Marisa from Seven Stems. So when they found me on instagram and reached out to me to shoot Whitney and Jason’s elopement in San diego at Sunset Cliffs beach, I was honored. Anytime another professional in the wedding industry finds you and wants you to capture their special day, it makes us feel like we are doing something right.
It’s crazy how most professionals in the wedding industry are elopeing these days. They see the stress their own brides go through, through the planning process and say “ya we are gonna elope, it’s less stress!” and boy is that so dang true.
This elopement was so dang beautiful and everything down to the dang weather had me swooning all day long. It was seriously perfect!
After their ceremony looking over the ocean on a cliff, we went on a adventure.
We found our way down all these rocks to get closer to the ocean. (Have I menationed how rad our couples are when they want to adventure with us.)
GUYS I slipped and fell so dang hard on a rock because ughhh ANYTHING TO GET THE SHOT!! I was okay and cameras were okay so we moved on to Luce Loft where the reception took place.
We were in luck that the Padres were playing at home, all the streets in downtown San Diego were blocked off due to the game. So you know what that means, dance party in the streets and reinacting the scene from “The Notebook” where they lay down in the middle of the street. How I get my brides to lay down in the street in their wedding dress I will never know, but so glad they can trust me for some great photos.
Whitney & Jason we are so dang happy for you and we had so much fun walking in the middle of the streets in downtown San Diego with you. Can’t wait to see this next adventure God has in store for you.
